Factional clash leaves 30 BNP men injured

MAGURA, Dec 1 (UNB): At least 30 people were injured in a factional clash between two groups of BNP supporters at Mortuzapur village in Sreepur Upazila Tuesday.
Witnesses said the clash erupted in the morning between the supporters of BNP leaders Abdur Rashid and Abdul Hye over establishing of political supremacy in the area.
The feuding groups equipped with lethal weapons attacked each other at one stage of altercation, leaving 30 people injured on both sides.
Injured Abdul Hye was rushed to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital in a critical condition while the others were admitted to the Sadar Hospital.
