Factional clash leaves 50 BCL men injured

GOPALGANJ, June 17 (UNB): At least 50 activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) were injured in a factional clash during students' union election of Bangabandhu University College here today.
Witnesses said rival BCL groups of Hamid and Ibrahim Khalil engaged in the clash at about 9pm over domination in the polls.
Five of the injured were admitted to the Sadar Hospital.
Election was suspended following the clash.
