Factory worker stabbed dead

A worker of a welding factory was stabbed to death allegedly by one of his colleagues over a trivial matter at Dirai upazila in Sunamganj district on Sunday. The deceased was identified as Sayed Mia, 26, who worked at the welding factory near Bus stand at the upazila headquarters. Witnesses said Sayed who used to supervise the factory had an altercation with his one of his colleagues around 2 pm over a trifling matter. At one stage, his colleague stabbed him with a sharp weapon, leaving him dead on the spot, according to UNB.
