Fake army man held in Rajshahi

RAJSHAHI, Dec 12 (BSS): Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) rounded up a fake army and seized smuggled fertiliser from different areas of two northern districts during the last 24 hours.
On a tip-off, a team of the force conducted a sudden raid at Kutibari village under Gobindaganj Upazila of Gaibandha and arrested fake army Golam Rabbani (25), son of Gulzer Hossain, a resident of the same village. He was allegedly involvement in collecting money in the name of giving job in Bangladesh Army, RAB sources said.
In another raid conducted at Chhoto Manik village under Panchbibi Upazila of Joypurhat district, they seized 38 bags of smuggled fertiliser valued at around Tk 152,000.
The arrested person and seized goods were handed over to the concerned police stations.
