Fake dentist jailed

A mobile court in Rangamati sentenced a fake dental surgeon to 3 months’ jail for failing to show his valid degree certificate to the court on Thursday. The court, led by executive magistrate Salma Ferdous, conducted a drive at Tabalchhari in Rangamati town and sentenced Shankar Das to 3-month non-rigorous imprisonment for failing to show a ‘specialist dental surgeon’ degree certificate. The court said the fake doctor has been treating people for a long time in the district town by using his false designation, according to a news agency.
