Fake DGFI officer arrested

SHARIATPUR, Apr 3 (UNB): Police arrested a fake DGFI officer from in front of Sadar municipality Thursday.
The arrested was identified as Anwar Hossain of Swarna Ghosh village in Sadar Upazila.
Police said Anwar identifying himself as a sergeant of DGFI told the people at the Municipal Bhaban and nearby poura market that he came to investigate Peelkhana BDR carnage.
Local people became suspicious of his behaviour and contacted the police. Later, police arrested him.
