Fake Indian currency notes recovered

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) personnel recovered fake Indian currency notes worth Tk 0.1 million in Chapainawabganj town on Wednesday afternoon. Lieutenant Colonel Abu Zafar Sheikh Mohammad Bazlul Haque, commanding officer of Chapainawabganj BGB Battalion-9, said being informed, a BGB team intercepted a three-wheeler in Mahananda Bridge area of the district town around 3:00pm. Sensing the presence of the border force, passenger and driver of the vehicle managed to flee the scene. Later, BGB troops recovered fake Indian notes of different denominations from the vehicle, according to UNB.
