RANGPUR, Dec 23: Fake herbal medicine traders are doing brisk business by cheating ignorant people, especially in rural areas of the district, sources said.
The ignorant rural folks, who are lacking proper knowledge of herbal medicine, are buying the fake medicines from the quacks.
These dishonest medicine traders try to draw attention of the naive persons by telling funny and false success-stories.
Such quacks usually induce people to buy different kinds of hand-made tablets, sweet-meat, edible oil and ointment which they claim will cure almost all human diseases.
