Fakhrul, 3 others bail extended

A Dhaka court on Monday extended until June 17 the bail of four BNP leaders, including its acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, in a policeman killing case. Metropolitan Magistrate Muhammad Anwar Sadat passed the order when they sought permanent bail in the case appearing before the court on completion of their High Court bail. The other BNP leaders are its standing committee member Gayeshwar Chandra Roy, joint secretary general Amanullah Aman and former councillor of Dhaka City Corporation Sirajul Islam, according to a news agency.
