Fakhrul flies to Singapore Sunday evening

BNP acting Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will leave Dhaka for Singapore this (Sunday) evening for medical treatment. He will leave Hazrat Shahjalal (R) International Airport in Kurmitola around 7:00pm. Mirza Alamgir was arrested in February and released earlier this month. The BNP leader was released on July 15 from the prison cell at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) after securing bail from the High Court in 7 cases filed against him with different police stations in the city for vandalism, arson and obstructing government duties, according to a news agency.
