Fakhrul gets bail in 3 cases

The High Court on Thursday granted bail to BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir in three cases of violence against him.
An HC bench comprising Justice Nuruzzaman and Justice Abdur Rob passed the order, which will remain effective until police submit charge-sheets in the cases.
Two of the cases were filed with Paltan Police Station while another with Motijheel Police Station.
The BNP leader will not be released from jail now as petitions in three others cases filed against him with Paltan thana are pending with the High Court for hearing, Fakhrul’s lawyer Ehsanur Rahman told UNB.
