Fakhrul’s ailments \\\'not serious,\\\' say doctors

A six-member medical board of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) has found the condition BNP leader Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir  'stable'  and he has been taken back to Gazipur's Kashimpur prison, reports bdnews24.com.
The BNP acting secretary general was taken to BSMMU at 7:45 am on Tuesday.
The panel of specialists  saw him and suggested some tests.
The hospital's director, Abdul Mazid Bhuiyan, said, "The medical board has seen him. He does not have any serious ailments at the moment.
 He was accompanied by his wife Rahat Ara Begum at the time. His family members complained that Fakhrul had 'lost weight'.
Jail Superintendent Prashant Kumar Banik said the BNP acting secretary general was sent to the medical facility after he was feeling 'unwell'.
Director Bhuiyan said the BNP leader was released from his hospital around 3:00 pm and prison authorities confirmed that he reached the jail roughly 45 minutes later.  
Fakhrul is being held at Gazipur's Kashimpur prison since January 8.
