Fareast insurance high-ups off to Malaysia

Fareast Islami Life Insurance Co Ltd Chairman Md Nazrul Islam, Vice Chairman Md Muqaddes Hossain and Executive Committee Chairman M Tajul Islam left the country for Malaysia Saturday to receive Global Economist Forum Award on behalf of the company.
London-based Global Economist Forum (GEF) rewarded the company for its significant role in the Bangladesh economy along with consistent aggrandisement in the insurance sector.
A Fareast press release said the award distribution ceremony will be held at Grand Seasons Hotel in Kuala Lumpur.
Dr Mahathir Muhammad, architect of modern Malaysia, will distribute the awards as the chief guest.
