Farmer killed by lightning

PATUAKHALI, Aug 28 (UNB): A farmer was killed by lightning at Munshipara village under Kalapara Upazila Monday noon.
The deceased was identified as Lal Miah.
Locals said the thunderbolt struck Lal Miah while he was working in his cropland at about 12:00 pm, killing him and his bullock on the spot.
