Farmer killed in Naogaon

NAOGAON, Mar 6 (BSS): A farmer was murdered by some miscreants at Kachua village under Atrai upazila of the district today.
The deceased was identified as Jahangir Alam, 35, son of Abul Hossain of the same area.
Quoting family members, Officer-in-charge of Atrai thana Sahinur Rahman said the miscreants might have slaughtered him to death and dumped the body at a crop field.
Being informed by locals, police recovered the slaughtered body from the field and sent it to hospital morgue for autopsy.
Police arrested Rejaul Islam alias Lalu of the village in this connection.
