Farmers block road for fertiliser in Jessore

JESSORE, March 16: Hundreds of farmers Saturday evening blocked road at Paira under Abhoynagar Upazila here for adequate supply of fertiliser.
The farmers blocked the road for several hours in front of the outlet owned by Abdus Sobhan.
They alleged that in place of the demand of 600 tonnes of fertiliser they got only 120 tonnes. Due to that the farmers failed to put fertiliser in their crop lands.
