Farmer\\\'s slaughtered body recovered in Jhenidah

JHENIDAH, Mar 3: Unidentified miscreants slaughtered a farmer to death in the field of Siddhi village under Shailkupa Upazila in district Jhenidah Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Moinuddin, 45, son of Ekdil Biswas of Siddhi village. He used to work on other people's land.
Local and family sources said Moin had been missing since previous evening. Later, police recovered the victim's body from the spot at about 8 am Monday. A case was lodged with the Shailkupa thana in this connection.
Moniruzzaman Mollah, OC of the thana, said it had been a planned murder, adding that they would try to nab the killers.
