Farooqui made MD of Standard Bank

SA Farooqui has been appointed Managing Director of Standard Bank Ltd recently.
Farooqui joined SBL as EVP since the inception of the bank in 1999 and played a pioneering role in the establishment of the bank and subsequently promoted to SEVP and deputy managing director.
Farooqui graduated in Economics and started his career in banking with Agrani Bank as a probationary officer in 1973.
He was selected as the best executive of National Bank Ltd in 1989.
