Farroque gets bail in Shariatpur

SHARIATPUR, Apr 29 (UNB): A court here Thursday granted bail to Opposition Chief Whip Zainul Abdin Farroque in a defamation case.
The chief judicial magistrate granted the bail while Farroque appeared before the court and sought bail.
Bangladesh Chhatra league (BCL) district unit president Alamgir Hossain Hawlader filed the Tk 10m defamation case against him for his derogatory remark about Prime Minister's son Sajib Wajed Joy on March 15 this year.
