Faruk murder case accused arrested in Pabna

PABNA, Feb 13 (UNB): Police arrested a fugitive accused of Rajshahi University (RU) student Faruq murder case at Parfaridpur village under Faridpur Upazila Friday.
The arrestee is identified as Ramzan Ali, son of Nazim Uddin of the village and Manager of Prime Insurance Company.
Police said they arrested Ramzan from in front of Parfaridpur Mosque after Jum'a prayer.
Ramzan said he had joined the insurance company after completing his honours in Islamic Studies from RU in 2007. He claimed that he was never in any way involved with Shibir politics.
Sub Inspector Shameem said Ramzan, supporter of Islami Chhatra Shibir (ICS), was wanted in Faruk murder e.
