Fasth takes Munich lead

Sunday, 24 June 2007

Niclas Fasth continued his fine form with a second-round 65 to lead at 12 under in the BMW International Open, reports BBC.
The Swede, who finished fourth in the US Open last weekend, is two shots clear of compatriot Peter Hanson.
England's Nick Dougherty is two shots further back and chasing a win to guarantee a spot in the Open.
"I'm desperate to be at Carnoustie, not just because of the way I've been playing but also because I love the course," said Dougherty.
Among the large group on six under are England's Paul Casey and tournament favourite Ernie Els.
