Father dies, son injured in road accident

Father died and son received serious wounds as a passenger bus hit their motorbike in front of Anarkoly Cinema Hall at Tongi on Dhaka-Mymensingh Highway Sunday morning, reports BSS.
The dead is Asaduzzman Khokon (42) and injured son Hamim Asfaqui (16).
Witnesses said a bus of Ajmeri Paribahan hit the motorbike at about 10:00 am. They were going to Gazipur from Tongi.
"Asaduzzaman died on the spot and his body was sent to Gazipur Hospital morgue. Hamim received serious injuries and is undergoing treatment at a local hospital," a spokesman of Tongi thana police told the news agency.
