Father killed by son in Comilla

COMILLA, Apr 20 (UNB): A man was stabbed to death allegedly by his son at Dotla village in Chandina upazila on Saturday night.
The victim was identified as Sirajul Islam,75, a resident of the village.
Quoting locals, police said Sirajul's spoiled son Moslem Uddin, 42, used to demand money from him.
Moslem Uddin picked up a quarrel with his father at night when he refused to give him money.
As a sequel to the incident, Moslem stabbed his father indiscriminately with a sharp weapon when his father was returning home from mosque at about 10:00pm, leaving him dead on the spot.
Informed, police recovered the body and sent it to Comilla Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy. Moslem went into hiding after the incident.
