Father, son die from toxic gas inhalation

DINAJPUR, July 7 (UNB): A man and his son died after inhaling toxic gas in a septic tank at Kushkakhali Nayapara village in Birampur upazila on Sunday night.
The deceased were identified as Idris Ali, a resident of the village, and his son Abdul Mannan.
Mominul Islam, officer in-charge of Birampur Police Station, said Mannan lost consciousness after inhaling toxic gas as he got inside the septic tank at their house at about 8:30pm to pick up his mobile phone that had fallen there.
Idris Ali also went inside the septic tank for rescue of his son.
Later, both the father and son died there.
Informed, police rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies.
