Father, son electrocuted in Sunamganj

The bodies of a man and his son were recovered from Dhala Beel (water body) area in Sunamganj Sadar upazila on Tuesday morning.  The deceased were identified as Abdus Sattar, 52, a resident of Bhadertek village of the upazila, and his son Ramzan Ali, 20. Harun-or-Rashid, officer-in-charge of the Sadar Model Police Station said, local people found the bodies in the area at about 9:00 am and informed police. Later, police recovered the bodies and sent those to a local hospital morgue for an autopsy. Police suspected that Abdus Sattar and his son Ramjan Ali died from electrocution while they were returning home after fishing by a boat at night, the OC added, according to a news agency.
