Father, son held with gold at HSIA

A man and his son were arrested with 600 grams of gold worth about Tk 3.0 million (30 lakh) from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) on Sunday morning. "We arrested M Billal Hossain, 62, and his son M Shah Alam, 25, of Keraniganj in Dhaka from No-2 canopy area of the airport, and seized six gold bars weighing 600 grams from their possession at around 7.30 am," said assistant police super (media) Tanzina Akhter of airport armed police battalion. —BSS
