Fayekuzzaman made Agrani Bank DMD

The government has promoted general manager of state-owned Agrani Bank Md Fayekuzza-man to the post of deputy managing director (DMD), according to a press release.
Prior to joining the bank, he was the general manager of Investment Corporation of Bangladesh (ICB) and served the organisation for long 22 years in different capacities.
During this time, he acted as the chairman of ICB Asset Management Company Limited, a subsidiary of the ICB, Jago Corporation Limited and Aziz Pipes Limited.
Fayekuzzaman was also a director of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited and project director of Improvement of Capital Market and Insurance Governance Project, an ICB component, initiated by the government of Bangladesh and Asian Development Bank (ADB).
He travelled to many countries including Iran, Kuwait, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia. Pakistan, India and the United Kingdom to attend, among others, meeting of the board of governors of South Asia Development Fund and Group Meeting of Jeddah-based Islamic Development Bank (IDB), the release added.
