Fazilatunnesa Mujib Int\\\'l Martial Art to begin Apr 14

The 4th Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib International Martial Art competition will begin on April 14 at three separate venues in the city, reports BSS.
The venues are Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Indoor Stadium, Shaheed Suhrawardy Indoor Stadium and Mohammad Ali Stadium.
Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu will inaugurate the four-day meet as the chief guest Wednesday (April 15) at the National Sports Council Gymnasium, the day after the start of the competition.
Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu, MP, and Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Rashed Khan Menon will preside over the opening ceremony.
Apart from hosts Bangladesh, male and female players from India, Nepal, Thailand, South Korea, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, Sri Lanka, UAE, Iran, Jordan, USA, Bhutan, Pakistan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Uzbekistan, Egypt and China will take part in the meet, organised by the Bangladesh Martial Art Confederation (BMAC).
Moriom Foundation  provided Tk 1.5 million out of the competition budget of Tk 3.3 million to run the meet.
In this connection a press conference was held Saturday at the National Sports Council conference room to give all the details of the meet.
BMAC General Secretary Hasanuzzaman Moni was, among others, present on the occasion.
