FBCCI business delegation off to Turkey

A 9-member business delegation of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) led by its president Annisul Huq has gone to Istanbul, Turkey, recently to attend the 'Turkey-Pacific Foreign Trade Summit and Buyer Mission' programme.
The summit has the support of business leaders of apex chambers of the Asian and European countries. It will tackle a number of regional and international economic issues from the perspective of the private sector's role in economic and social development.
During the visit, the FBCCI delegation will attend bilateral business meetings with their counterparts and will visit an exhibition. The private sector leaders will pursue joint ventures and foreign investment in the country. They will meet the representatives of the apex chambers of Istanbul and Turkey and the dignitaries of Turkey.
Other members of the FBCCI delegation are Vice President Abu Alam Chowdhury and Director Abdul Haque.
FBCCI First Vice President Abul Kashem Ahmed will act as president in the absence of Annisul Huq. The delegation is expected to return home on June 21.
