FBCCI delegation off to China

Newly elected President of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) Matlub Ahmed leaves Dhaka on Sunday for China with a 25-member delegation to participate in the 10th China-South Asia Business Forum and the China-South Asia Exposition.
Another 30-member trade delegation led by FBCCI vice president Mahbubul Alam, meanwhile, left Dhaka on Thursday, a news agency report said.
The FBCCI chief will address the expo on the theme ‘6th South Asia- Sichuan Business Promotion’.
The FBCCI will sign a mamorandum of understanding (MoU) with China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Sichuan Council on Monday.
The third China-South Asia Expo will be held from June 12-16 in Kunming, the capital of southwest China's YunnanProvince, with Chinese Vice President Li Yuanchao attending the opening ceremony.
The FBCCI leaders hoped that the visit will help enhance Bangladesh’s trade ties with China and South Asian countries.
