FBCCI election deferred

The Ministry of Commerce has deferred the election to the Board of Directors of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) for the 2025-26 and 2026-27 terms by another 45 days, reports BSS.
In line with that timeframe, the FBCCI election board will announce a fresh election schedule soon, said an FBCCI press release on Wednesday.
As per previous election schedule announced on June 18, the election to the country's apex trade body was scheduled for September 7.
