Saturday, 24 May 2025

The Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) and the International Business Forum of Bangladesh (IBFB) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the FBCCI office in Dhaka on Wednesday.
Hafizur Rahman, Administrator of FBCCI, signed the MoU on behalf of FBCCI, while Lutfunnisa Saudia Khan represented the International Business Forum of Bangladesh, says a statement.
The MoU establishes a strategic partnership focused on strengthening evidence-based policy advocacy to address the pressing challenges facing Bangladesh's business community.
Both organisations have committed to working together to promote economic growth and social development through collaborative initiatives.
The agreement underscores the importance of in-depth research and policy analysis to identify and overcome barriers in the business environment, including issues related to cross-border trade and regulatory constraints. This collaboration aims to support the development of more responsive, inclusive, and forward-looking policies that foster private sector competitiveness.
FBCCI and IBFB will jointly facilitate dialogue, knowledge exchange, and stakeholder engagement to drive impactful policy reforms and contribute to a more enabling business climate in Bangladesh.
