FBCCI leaders, CCCI president made CIPs

The government has selected Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) president Annisul Huq, its First Vice President Abul Kashem Ahmed and Chittagong Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CCCI) president Saifuzzaman Chowdhury as CIPs (Commercially Important Persons)-Industry.
Five FBCCI directors--Aftab-ul Islam, Abdul Hai Sarker, Kamran Tanvirur Rahman, Rajjab Sharif and Md Shamsul Alam-have also been selected CIPs, said press releases issued by FBCCI and CCCI.
The CCCI press release said Mr. Saifuzzaman is an active Member of Bangladesh Better Business Forum which is headed by the Chief Advisor of Caretaker Government.
Being a Chairman of Port Users Forum, Executive Committee Member of International Chamber of Commerce-Bangladesh and India-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Mr. Chowdhury played a commendable role in the recent reform initiative taken at Chittagong Port as well as automation process of Chittagong Custom House.
