FBCCI team reaches India as entourage of Sheikh Hasina

A high-level business delegation led by Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FBCCI), for enhancing bilateral trade relations, reached India on a four-day visit as entourage of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, reports BSS.
The business delegation, led by FBCCI President Md Jashim Uddin, left Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport for India on Tuesday.
FBCCI Vice-President Md Amin Helaly will be serving as acting president of FBCCI until the president and his delegation returns.
The FBCCI delegation will participate in a meeting titled "New Horizons of India Bangladesh Economic Relations" with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI).
A meeting will be held between FBCCI and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) on Wednesday morning. In the evening, FBCCI is scheduled to participate in the India-Bangladesh Business Forum organised by Assocham.
The 62-member business delegation includes former FBCCI president Md Shafiul Islam (Mohiuddin), Abdul Matlub Ahmad, FBCCI senior vice-president Mostofa Azad Chowdhury Babu, vice-president MA Razzak Khan Raj, former director Selima Ahmad, MP, Bashundhara Group Chairman Ahmed Akbar Sobhan, FBCCI directors Khan Ahmed Shuvo, MP, Mahbubul Alam, Md Saiful Islam, Md Jamal Uddin, Dilip Kumar Agarwala, Moha-mmad Anwar Sadat Sarker, MGR Nasir Maju-mder, Bijay Kumar Kejriwal, Md Iqbal Shahriar, Md Ali Hossain Shishir CIP, Amzad Hussain, Tabarakul Tosaddek Hossain Khan (Tito), Dr Kazi Ertaza Hassan CIP, Shomi Kaiser, Syed Sadat Almas Kabir, Dr Joshoda Jibon Deb Nath CIP, Priti Chakraborty, Moha-mmad Mahbubur Rahman Patwari, Md Iqbal Hossain Chowdhury, Naaz Farhana Ahmed, President of Bangladesh Garment Manu-facturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) Faru-que Hassan, President of Bangladesh Knitwear Manu-facturers and Exporters Association (BKMEA) Moha-mmad Hatem, Business Initiative Leading Develop-ment (BUILD) Chairperson Nihad Kabir, FBCCI former director Prabir Kumar Saha and other businessmen from different sectors.
