FBCCI urges Jaamat to withdraw hartal

Expressing deep concern over the 48-hour dawn-to-dusk hartal on September 18 and September 21, the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) on Wednesday called upon the political party to withdraw the strike for the sake of the country's economy. "Business and investment friendly environment is now prevailing in the country and the reserve of foreign currency, remittance, investment, exports and imports are witnessing a positive trend, which is encouraging the foreign investors to the country," said a statement issued by the apex trade body, according to a news agency.
