FBCCI urges UAE to ease visa process

The Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) on Monday urged the authorities of the United Arab Emirate (UAE) to ease its visa process to facilitate bilateral trade. FBCCI leaders at a meeting with UAE Ambassador in Dhaka Saeed Bin Hajar Al Shahi at FBCCI Bhaban also recommended steps to exchange business emissaries between the two countries. FBCCI president Kazi Akram Uddin Ahmed led the delegation. UAE Ambassador Saeed Bin Hajar Al Shahi said his country is keen to improve the trade relations with Bangladesh. He also assured the FBCCI leaders of quick steps to ease the visa process, and open a liaison office in Chittagong, according to a news agency.
