Commerce Minister Faruk Khan Wednesday said agents from the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Scotland Yard of the UK would again visit Bangladesh soon to assist Bangladesh further in the probe into the carnage inside the BDR headquarters, reports UNB.
"They might visit Bangladesh after three weeks, and they have assured us of providing all-out support for the investigation," the Commerce Minister said, as the investigators from the two agencies left before completion of the investigation into the BDR mayhem.
He informed reporters about the latest state of the probe after the formal inauguration of a three-day international optical fair titled 'Bangladesh Optica-2009' at a city hotel.
Replying to a question the commerce minister said the government is determined to ensure punishment of the culprits involved in the Pilkhana bloodbath through proper investigation.
"There is no doubt about it. The government is truly sincere to unearth the mysteries behind the planned killings," he said.
