FE reporter\\\'s father expires

Keshab Chandra Howlader (KC Howlader), a renowned industrialist and social worker, breathed his last at Rabindranath Tagore International Institute of Cardiac Sciences in Kolkata on Saturday morning. He was 65.
Family members said KC Howlader died of cardiac arrest at 9am while undergoing treatment.
Hailed from Barisal district, late Howlader was the founder managing director of Samsons Knitwear Industries Ltd and Samsons Winterwear Industries Ltd. He was engaged in many religious, educational and socio-development organisations.
He left behind his wife, a daughter and a son, brothers, sisters, many relatives, friends and well-wishers to mourn his death. KC Howlader is the father of Sonia Howlader Moni, staff reporter of the Financial Express (FE).
