Fear of fox attacks in Lalmonirhat

Over the past two days, fear has gripped the busiest areas of Lalmonirhat district due to a series of fox attacks. Tragically, one man suffered severe injuries, including the loss of his testicles, while nine others were injured by fox bites in a single day.
The victims are undergoing treatment, with most admitted to Lalmonirhat Sadar Hospital and two critically injured individuals receiving care at Rangpur Medical College Hospital. This situation has caused panic among the residents, who now fear for their safety.
The authorities concerned must take immediate action to address the situation by mobilising animal control teams and implementing measures to prevent further incidents. At the same time, community members must remain vigilant and work in tandem with the administration to combat this unusual and alarming threat.
