Fed Cup Open Squash from today

Federation Cup Open Squash Tournament 2007, organised by Bangladesh Squash Racket Federation, begins today (Thursday) at two city venues -Gulshan Club and Cadet College Club.
Housing and Public Works Secretary ASM Rashedul Hai will formally inaugurate the 10-day meet as the chief guest.
The tournament will be held in seven divisions -- Premier division, A division, B division, C division, Under-18 division, and Above 40 and 50 divisions, reports UNB.
The champion team of each of the seven divisions will receive Tk 7,000 while the runners-up Tk 5,000 and the third-placed teams Tk 2,000 as prize money.
The estimated tournament budget of Tk 80,000 will be borne from the Federation's own resources.
