FedEx among top ten 'world's most admired cos'

FedEx Corporation is among the world's most admired companies according to a survey published in FORTUNE magazine.
Fedex also emerged as the most admired company in the United States.
FORTUNE magazine released its annual report on corporate reputation, listing FedEx as No 7 (tied with Southwest Airlines) on its list, says a press release.
"All the credit for this great honour belongs to the 290,000 FedEx team members around the world whose performance everyday is nothing short of amazing," said Frederick W Smith, chairman, president and chief executive officer of FedEx Corporation.
FedEx has consistently ranked in FORTUNE's list of the World's Most Admired Companies and FORTUNE's list of America's Most Admired Companies since 2002 and 2001 respectively.
Last year, FedEx ranked No 6 in the US and No 7 globally. FedEx has also been honoured as one of FORTUNE's 'Best Companies to Work For' in 11 of the past 12 years' listings and was named to the 'Best Companies to Work For Hall of Fame' in 2005.
