FedEx officials arrive in city

Mr Maher Hasbini, managing director of FedEx Express, Middle East, Indian Subcontinent and Africa, GSP Operations, Planning and Development, along with four senior officials arrived in the city Sunday from Dubai, said a press release.
The team will be in Dhaka for a three-day visit to their licensee in Bangladesh, Bangladesh Express Company Limited (BANEX) in order to launch the FedEx International Economy Service in Bangladesh market.
BANEX has been successfully chosen as the first Global Service Participants (GSP) country to launch the product.
BANEX has been serving as the GSP of FedEx in Bangladesh since 1991 and have successfully positioned FedEx brand in the country, the release added.
