Felani\\\'s father returns from India

Father of Felani, who was shot dead by Border Security Force (BSF) personnel while crossing the barbed-wire fence on India-Bangladesh border in Kurigram district on January 7, 2011, returned from India through Burimari Land Port in Lalmonirhat district early Tuesday. Nurul Islam, father of Felani, along with Kurigram 45 Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) acting director Major ATM Hedayetul Islam and district public prosecutor Abraham Lincoln, came back to Bangladesh around 12:30am. Public prosecutor Abraham Lincoln said a five-member bench of judges of the General Security Force Court at BSF Sector headquarters in Koch Bihar in India's West Bengal state recorded statement of Nurul Islam from 10:00am to 4:00pm. BSF's Constable Amiya Ghosh, the only accused in the killing case, was present in the court, according to a news agency.
