Female cop\\\'s rapists to get punishment

State Minister for Home Affairs Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said on Sunday actions will be taken against the rapists of a female police constable in the city, reports UNB.
"This is a heinous crime…the responsible policeman will be tried under the police law. If the accused police official is found guilty he will get proper punishment," he said.
The state minister was talking to reporters after a programme at Radisson Hotel in the city.
A female police constable of Turag thana on Saturday brought an allegation that her estranged husband, an assistant sub-inspector (ASI) of police, along with his five cohorts raped her in a house on Wednesday at Tilpapara in Khilgaon area.
