Female freedom fighter passes away

PATUAKHALI, Apr 12 (UNB): A female freedom fighter passed away at her Kalikapur house here Sunday.
Freedom fighter SM Monwara Moon had been suffering from asthma for long and breathed her last at about 5:00 am at the age of 56, family sources said.
She actively took part in many operations in the district against the Pakistani occupation forces during the Liberation War in 1971.
The childless Moon was engaged in various social welfare activities after the liberation war.
