Female schoolteacher killed \\\'by husband, in-laws\\\'

A female schoolteacher was beaten to death allegedly by her husband and in-laws over a family feud in Chauhali Upazila in Sirajganj district on Tuesday. The deceased was identified as Hafiza Khatun, 25, assistant teacher of a local primary school and wife of Shamim of Mulkandi village in the Upazila. Locals said Hafiza was beaten badly by her husband over a trifling matter, leaving her dead on the spot. Later, Shamim and his family members fled the scene leaving the body at home. On information, police recovered the body on Tuesday noon and sent it to a local hospital for autopsy. Waheduzzaman, officer-in-charge of Enayetpur Police Station, said the body bore several marks of injuries from beating, according to UNB.
