Feni emerge zonal champion eliminating Ctg

Feni District team emerged zonal champion to reach the final round of the Sailor-BFF National U-15 Football Championship eliminating hosts Chittagong District team by 4-3 goals in tie- breaker at the MA Aziz Stadium in the port city of Chittagong Tuesday, reports UNB.
The zonal final match between the two teams was locked in 2-2 goals in the stipulated period.
Amin Hossain and Ahsanul Haque scored for Feni, one in each half while Iftekhar Ahmed netted both the goals for Chittagong in the 2nd half in stipulated time. Earlier, seven district teams-Barisal, Sylhet, Thakurgaon, Narayanganj, Dhaka, Natore and Jessore-emerged zonal champions to reach the final round of the meet.
