Ferry services resume on Shimulia-Kawrakandi route

Ferry services, disrupted owing to dense fog on the Shimulia-Kawrakandi route of Padma River, resumed after a gap of around 8 hours on Sunday morning. The Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC)’s Shimulia Ferry Ghat Manager (commerce) confirmed it, saying the disruption happened around 1:00am and the normalcy returned in the important waterways around 9:00am, according to a news agency.
