Field day on sugarcane farming held

JOYPURHAT, Mar 23: A field day on better technique, disease identification, and the role of farmers to curb the pesticides was observed at Raghobpur centre area organised by Joypurhat Sugar mill on Tuesday. The field day, presided over by managing director of the mill Sahid Ullah, Yahia Mia, director of BSFIC head quarters, spoke as a chief guest. Among others Khaja Nazimuddin, general secretary of sugarcane farmers development association, DGM Mostafa Kamal, Abdus Salam Fakir manager of Sadar sub zone and other workers and labourer federation leaders spoke on the occasion.
