Finance Bill 2014 passed

The Finance Bill 2014 was passed in the Jatiya Sangsad (Parliament) on Saturday in presence of the opposition Jatiya Party. Finance Minister AMA Muhith presented the bill that included the government’s financial proposals and amendments to several laws. It was passed by a voice vote later. Muhith placed Tk 2.50 trillion budget for the 2014-15 fiscal on June 5. The new fiscal year starts on July 1, according to a news agency.
